An old saying goes, we have two ears and one mouth so we should listen twice as much as we speak – but it’s not always easy to do that.

This webinar explains how to listen, because when we listen well, we may find that our colleagues, customers or clients are actually telling us what they need and how we can help. They just might not be saying it directly.

This webinar starts by considering what we know about our audiences and how we can better target their needs. We then match their needs with our practical and emotional objectives. We include some basic information on how to read the room (body language and word choices) and the value of silence as a conversational tool.

We end the session with a quick discussion of storytelling based sales techniques such as Yes set, Yes Ladder and Mirroring.

This class includes a chat based exercise on targeting a story to an audience.
